This is how we compete
Rules:
- Mouthguard and cup are optional
- Time per round: 5 minutes
Groups of 2: Immediate finale
- If wanted the group can be moved to the weight division above
Groups above 2 participants: Round Robin + elemination rounds
Points:
- Winner gets 3 points
- Loser gets 0 point
- Draw gets 1 point each
In case a competitor exits due to injury or disqualification:
- If a participant exits the fights. The points from previous fights will be cancelled.
In case of 2 with the same amount of points. (Tiebreak):
- The competitor with the most submissions and shortest total time to submit proceeds to the finals.
In case the final goes to exceeds the time limit:
- EBI rules will apply and the quickest finish/escape will be declared the winner.
EBI RULES WILL ONLY BE 1 ROUND FOR EACH COMPETITOR
- Fastest submission or fastest escape wins
Weight Classes
LEVELS AND WEIGHT CLASSES:
- Beginner – Up to 2 years of training (until blue belt)
- Advanced – From 2 – 5 years of training (Blue belt)
- Expert – From 5 years and above (Purple, Brown & Black belt)
TRAINI EXPERIENCE INCLUDES ALL GRAPPLING STYLES AND MMA OR IF A COMPETITOR HAS BEEN GRADUATED BEFORE THE 2/5 YEAR MARK
Weight classes:
- The weight division can be changed until 2 days before the event.
- If a participant does not make weight, he/she will be disqualified.
- Remember to bring an ID at Weigh-in.
